Development snapshots of RHIDE

Binaries available from this page are built from CVS snapshots of SetEdit and RHIDE. Please treate them as alpha software and be carefull. Use at Your own risk.

Here is a source archive of an experimental version (2004/06/28) of RHIDE for use with the new GDB-6.1.1. Only a minimal testing has been done under Linux only. No testing for DJGPP at all yet. You need

a recent CVS version of TVision (I used snapshot from 2004/06/18)
a recent CVS version of SetEdit (I used snapshot from 2004/06/18)
gdb-6.1.1

Really only files in directories libgdb and librhgdb are modified.

Here are new DJGPP source and binary archives of slightly modified RHIDE-1.5 (build 2003/04/08). I planed to try to find a reasons of several reproducible reported crashes of version 1.5, which I was able to reproduce with 1.5, but after building RHIDE was not able to get them any more. I increased version number to 1.5.0.1 for this build

Here are a new DJGPP source and binary archives I built from RHIDE and SetEdit-0.4.57 versions (build 2002/08/29). Only real changes are using gdb-5.2.1 instead of gdb-5.2 (slightly better stability debugging applications compiled with gcc-3.2) and use of gcc-3.2 for building rhide. So here are files:

Linux source and binary archives of RHIDE CVS version.

a binary archive (build 26/07/2002) for Linux. I used patched current CVS version of RHIDE, gcc-2.95.3 (didn't have time to try to get building RHIDE with gcc-3.1 working), GDB-5.2.1, setedit-0.4.57, the same version of TVision as before. I also removed warning messages on opening R/O files as these messages perhaps only annoys user

Marian Krivos built RHIDE binary for RedHat 7.2 (21.02.2002 sources as far as I understood).

I built Linux binaries using Slackware Linux distribution (Slackware-8.0 with many upgrades, later - 8.1). Binaries are statically linked, but of course I don't know whether they will work on all systems ...
